The smoked version of our Eden Brie. Smoked in-house in the traditional manner using a subtle mix of apple and oak woods, it develops a warm, gentle smokiness that complements the cheese’s natural creaminess. The flavour offers a perfect balance with rustic refinement and a smooth, mellow finish.

Appleby Creamery has been hand-making cheese in Cumbria's Eden Valley since 2007, led by cheesemaker Maurice Walton and his small, dedicated team.

Using milk that comes almost entirely from local farms - the goat's milk travels barely 8 miles from Meaburn Hall Farm - the range spans soft, smoked and hard cheeses built on genuine skill rather than shortcuts. Appleby Creamery proves that Cumbria's cheesemaking tradition is in very good hands!

Every cheese is made from pasteurised milk and is suitable for vegetarians.
