This smoked bacon jam is fantastic slathered over burgers, sandwiches and toast, or just as a dipping sauce on the side of your plate instead of ketchup.

The Welsh Smokery (or Welshhomestead Smokery to give it its full name) is an award-winning smokehouse set on the edges of the Welsh Cambrian Mountains.

Using what they call the ancient magic of cold smoking combined with the latest technology, Claire and her team at the smokery create unusual flavour combinations infused with the simple taste and smell of woodsmoke.     Happy Mum!

    My elderly bed bound mother could no longer chew bacon and missed her egg n’ bacon breakfasts. I suggested that I would get her some bacon Jam from a local food hall, only to find it was no longer being produced. I waded through the internet and found at last FARM FETCH! A little expensive with the postage but it was promised so I purchased a couple of jars, which arrived in good time and was well wrapped. Mum absolutely loved the taste spread on her bread with scrambled egg, she was very pleased and so was I. Just received my second purchase, I added the chorizo jam too. Thankyou for great service and delicious idea!
