Feltham's Farm struck gold again at the Virtual Cheese Awards 2021 with their wonderfully fresh La Fresca Margarita cheese - an organic Queso Fresco made in Somerset. 

Its title of Supreme Champion is well earned - zesty, lemony and fresh, it goes equally well drizzled with honey and spread on crusty bread, or used as a topping for Mexican tacos. It's also ideal for cheesecakes, with its lemony undertones and light texture producing a fantastic dessert. Available as salted or unsalted for use in savoury or sweet dishes.

Feltham's Farm is a non-traditional Organic cheesemaker in Somerset making multi-award winning cheeses. Inspired by a love of food and travelling, Marcus and Penny make cheese including the famous Renegade Monk (an Epoisse with a touch of blue), Rebel Nun (delicately bathed in ale), Gert Lush (a soft Camembert) and La Fresca Margarita (a Queso Fresco).

Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do - whey from the cheese making process is used to feed their free-range pigs, the cheesery operates on 40KW of solar panels, batteries, and ground source heat pumps, and all local deliveries are made using their electric van.

    The products were great! Service really good, only problem was the wronh house number was put on the shipping label, not the order itself. My delivery sat outside my neighbours house on one of the hottest days of the year until I checked outside after seeing it had said delivered on the carrier app. As it was soft cheese all the ice was gone, so a little problematic.
