Produced especially for the Autumn / Winter season, this premium free range chicken is sourced from Bank Farm in Aldington (Kent), where the Wanstall family have been raising chickens since 1918.
This is a capon-style bird, weighing in at a minimum of 3kg and ranging up to 5kg, making it a perfect alternative to turkey this Christmas!
Their Black Label chickens are allowed to reach full maturity in free range conditions without the use of growth promoters or artificial feed. By allowing them to slowly grow over 80 days (more than twice the lifespan of a supermarket bird!), the birds produce a succulent, meaty flavour that'll take your roast to the next level.
